Sunday, December 4, 2022 - This is in a great drinking window right now. Nicely balanced and without flaws. I'd wager that there's a fair amount of whole cluster here which gives it a lively, fresh, and exuberant expression. Definitely tending toward the old world, Northern Rhone expression: definitely not a big new world Syrah nor is it the austere New California version of the grape. I'd say that it likely has some upside for the next 10+ years but it is great right now.
