Thursday, May 28, 2015 - Seppeltsfield WW1 Para Centennial Tasting 1914-18 (Randwick Racecourse, The Stables room): Very dark, black to the core.
Lovely rich fragrance. Smooth but intense, very dark fruits, strong earthy char, orange rind zest.
A step up in intensity if that's possible. Thick, powerful, but still silky smooth and very very long. Charred fruits, tar, burnt sugar, tart tatin, with a refined black spice and a hint of orange rind zest. Amazing.
