Tuesday, July 19, 2016 - AP 07. Cork. 7.5% alc. Bright green-tinged yellow.

Clean fruit, noticeably less ripe than the preceding '14 Selbach Oster ZS Spät. Slight brioche aromas, hints of petrol, tropical fruit salad, green herbs.

Apple, lemon, pineapple, coconut, mint. A hint of gin-type notes with white flowers. This has a creamy palate, but also has quite fierce acidity providing good cut. Light in the mouth, and it tingles across the tongue. Long finish.

Opinion: Lovely wine. Buy more.
