Monday, November 9, 2015 - Incredibly finessed, place-driven cool climate white. The nose abounds with white grapefruit, Bosc pear, and peach along with great slate-like minerality and floral spice. A seamless beam of acidity counterbalances against the delicate fruit while the minerals extend effortlessly through to the palate, ending with a long, slightly astringent finish that only adds to the sense of balance. This wine will peak around 4-5 years, if the beautiful honeyed aromas that developed on the second day open are any indication.
