Saturday, January 14, 2017 - First time tasting an Italian Ripasso, or baby Amarone as they called it, through a brief tasting though. Medium-complex aroma of cherry & plum but balance. Easy to drink medium body red. Lighter than an Australian Shiraz I just had. Would be interesting to compare a Valpolicella vs its Repasso, side by side.
