Friday, October 23, 2009 - Bordeaux 2005 and 2006 Tasting; 10/22/2009-10/26/2009 (Wine For Asia Singapore Suntec): Very open. Perfumey flowery and elegant nose. Getting past the flowers, I get sweet cassis, hinted by roasted ethopian coffeee, some dessicated coconuts. A very layered nose. Smooth rounded plums , dark berry fruits with a exotic spiced finish. A wine of class and avant garde fashion. Compared to previously, I think this has developed very nicely into an extremely classy effort of a legendary vintage. 88-92pts
