There is no reason to defer gratification with this bottle, although it is only just entering early maturity. Incredibly meaty, and intense. Dark, dark currant fruits, with a rich and deep leathery/smokiy complexity that lifts this wine far beyond the basic fruit and oak amalgamation of basic bordeaux. Thick and ripe tannins frame a wine cos considerable dimension, but the balance is pure class. Will be fabulous to follow over the coming decades. Grand wine. 97+
