90 Points

Wednesday, February 7, 2024 - From 375mL. Deep golden color; high intensity aromatics, pure orange (like the nose on a muscat, pure fruit), with some baking spices, nutmeg, orange zest, candied orange peel, some honey; palate is full bodied, sweet but balanced by medium acidity, medium-plus alcohol is all in place, citrus fruit, not quite as much complexity as on the nose but well balanced; medium length finish. This is fabulous value, seems in a better spot than last year, and will likely continue to evolve in a good direction. I'm particularly impressed by the depth on the nose, though the palate is more one-note. One of my better bottles of this. 90
