Sunday, June 12, 2005 - Brick colored. Labeled as unfiltered, but not sure if that should mean that the wine should be this cloudy (sediment has never bothered me). Strong cedar aromas indicated heavy oaking in the winemaking process. Acouple hours later there were notes of tar on top of the cedar. No fruit to speak of, but still an enjoyable wine, probably past it's peak by a couple of years. Overall, this wine was a pleasnt surprise.
