Wednesday, January 31, 2018 - A wow wine. Deep dark and blueberry fruit, some smoke, and a volcanic stone undertone, the wine is rich, well balanced, smooth, with some tannin still needing to resolve. Needs a long decant now, or a few more years in bottle. Would do well with beef, and drinks well on its own because of the rich fruit and interesting flavors. A Horse Heaven Hills vineyard.
