Wednesday, July 14, 2021 - Rich and sumptuous, this was a pretty tough blind. A fair amount of barrel toast. Pretty bright and citric but N.Rhone standards to be sure. Tropical profile with pineapple and peach. Oily viscosity on the palate. This bottle showed a bit of tertiary notes as well. We thought maybe 2011z A pretty stately wine and a fabulous value if you purchased and held this baby.
