Thursday, April 7, 2011 - Strange color. Seems to be turning orange. The wine is oxidizing but also has the smell of creme brûlée. I assume there is a fair amount of RS on this. It is slightly cloying. Flavors of cream pie. The acid is there but the sweetness stays in front of it. I know this probably wasn't meant to go beyond a few years but wanted to see where it ended up. Where it ended up was, not terrible but not very interesting. Should have only enjoyed it as a summer sipper back in 2007.
