Wednesday, February 21, 2007 - Took a good 30 minutes in the glass to even begin to show what was to come. Deep dark, blues and reds in the glass, nearly opaque right up to the edge. Huge blueberry, blackberry, chocolate, coffee aromas jumped from the glass. Leather notes, spice, earth, forest, red/blue/black fruit compote. Very long, smooth and well integrated. No heat at all. This wine is showing very well today, but holds a lot of promise for two or more years of bottle age.
