NOSE: ripe purple fruits, showing just a hint of aged character; dark chocolate (oak); a touch smoky; very ripe.

BODY: black-garnet color of great depth, with some bricking at the edges; full bodied.

TASTE: very ripe; dark, rich purple fruits; hint of soft black licorice (aged character); 14.5% alc. is a little noticeable; adequate acidity; tannins integrated; lots of lush, thick, ripe fruit; light-to-medium oak; good, but not my preferred style of wine. Drink now, I suppose, or over the next 3 - 5 years, even though I don't see this getting any better with age.
