Thursday, May 29, 2008 - The Sampler (Angel, London): Deep, rich purple in colour. The nose is very savoury - earthy and vegetal characters. The palate is full bodied and intense. Blackberry, blueberry, spice and a whole heap of tannins. Lacking a little finesse and balance.
