Just a beautiful mature wine at this point. Still a long life ahead, but seems about at peak. The nose has cassis and some cedar with a bit of menthol and tobacco as well. On the palate, layers of complexity. Nice acidity. Cassis, forest floor and some funk. Light tannins although mostly resolved. Good finish.
