Color is very dark purple with ruby rims.
Aroma: First thing I get is cigar leaf, purple fruits. Swirl a bit and the purple fruit rushes forward. Almost smells of paint...and I like the smell of paint.

Flavor profile: Wow are there still tannins on this bad boy. Puckering. Sour purple fruits. I'm a bit shocked by the tannins on this. This definitely needs more time sideways or more airtime than I expected. Very tart flavor profile...like there are cranberry or rhubarb notes. I like it, but, wow...this is a sour zin.

Will update later.

+00:20:
Aromas: Getting black pepper and hints of coffee on the nose.
Flavors: Tannins less biting, more pronounced on the finish now. Sourness fading a bit.

+1:00
Aromas:
Flavors: Purple fruits have resolved into plums.
