Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - New Years Eve with family at home - limited notes.
2 bottles decanted together. At the beginning of its plateau. Stoned fruit (plum esp) traces of liquorice, strap, earth etc hinting at the onset of maturity. Firm but integrated tannins and decent acidity provide grip. As good as Chasse gets from this excellent value go-to Englishman's Claret.
Now and till 2030 at least with the distinct possibilty of further improvement. 91+
