Saturday, March 30, 2013 - Fantastic wine and great representative of the landmark 2005 vintage - and of course still evolving.

Nice deep and darkish purple color - Heavy on the Cabernet side and shows its power. Great finish that reveals a wonderful cherry flavor. Would be great with many food pairings or as I drank it on its own. This will only get much better..Great one to sit on for many years to come.

As much as I liked it, I'd like to note that this wine in particular the price is getting a little out of control..I picked up a couple bottles at Costco several years ago for around $95, but recently saw it going for $195 at Total Wine....Would be hard to justify buying that price even if it is an 05'.
