Saturday, April 19, 2008 - Brooding youngster. This wine was tight and closed. revealed lots of cassis and dark berry fruit, intermixed with the usual slate, mineral, and burnt earth. Finish was long, and after 24 hours, the wine was more open, and revealing a whole bouquet of fresh fruit, with no diminishment in the palate. Acicity was relatively sharp, and the balance was incredible.
