Sunday, March 11, 2007 - Great burg nose of mushrooms, blackberries and spice. For a village wine, still quite youthful and full of fruit. On the palate lots of fruit complemented by a healthy dose of tannins. Wrapped up in a short tannic finish. This will continue to improve as the fruit and tannins have not resolved themselves yet. Not a lot of complexity, but more may come with further aging.
