Friday, October 27, 2017 - Needs time. Overall, delicate, tight and structured. Transparent earth and damp soil overtones, backed by delicate dark fruit, subtle anise and chalky, stony minerality. Medium bodied, with noticeably dry, dusty, tannins and balanced acid. Low sulfite level was noticeable. Quality, structured, old world wine, that would be best enjoyed with well marbled meat. Good value when compared to some village level Burgs. Beautiful transparency. Enjoyable, well-made, delicate, old world Pinot Noir. Not for those wanting a bold, juicy, soft, fruit-forward Pinot.
