Saturday, July 7, 2012 - Lovely earth, pepper and cherry nose. The palate was much lighter than I expected with great integration of acid and the slightest bit of tannin for structure. Lovely strawberry, dark cherry, earth, and tobacco flavors, this had a finish reminiscent of a pinot more than your typical Bordeaux, but that all worked like crazy here. Deliscious and a steal at $40.
