Tuesday, March 20, 2012 - I want to put up a much more detailed note on this, but it was had out at a great wine bar, and I just didn't take notes. This is really an amazing wine. Layers upon layers of flavors and aromas. Long finish, that evolved through so many different stages it blew me away. Didn't taste anything like the 15.9% alcohol it was labeled as, the balance was so great, smooth tannins and just...wow. A classic.
