Saturday, October 7, 2017 - This opaque crimson wine offers dark bramble fruits, baking spices and bittersweet chocolate on both the nose and palate. Full-bodied, fresh and with medium-weight, chewy tannins, it stays solid in the middle and throws no heat from its 14.4% alcohol. The medium-length finish concludes with notes of cedar and oak. This is a well-made, albeit straightforward Cabernet. It should be at its best over the next 5-6 years. Drink now-2023.
