94 Points

Saturday, September 26, 2009 - ...now THIS was a completely different story & experience! Drank on the heels of the '97 Dunn, I had a reference point for the evening and this one truly over-performed and outshined all the others. Unlike my first bottle, this one showed beautiful fruit that was perfectly in tune with both the sweet and formidable acidity, as well as the round, smooth, rich tannins; with plenty of all three to permit this wine to age gracefully (clarification: age, not necessarily improve) for another 3-4+ years, with relative ease. Truly a show-stopper wine that flirted with "extraordinary"!
