Friday, November 30, 2007 - This was a fantastic wine. Decanted x 2 hours the enjoyed with bacon-wrapped filet mignon, this was just great. Nose of blackberry, black cherry and cassis. Palate has cassis, currant, black and red cherry with some light vanilla. Tannins are soft, round and supple. No touch of heat on this. Drink well now and can go another 5 or so. Great job.
