Sunday, October 31, 2021 - Decanted four hours then poured half glasses. Dark, black color almost like a Malbec. Wonderful, deep nose. Nice balance and an explosion of dark fruits. Tannins still present but silky. Medium/Full mouthfeel. Nice extraction and structure. For me it is a bit one dimensional and doesn’t really have the flavor layersI look for. Still QPR is excellent and the wine can go for many more years. Solid effort. First time trying Buty but am inclined to add more to the cellar.
