Since I sourced this in October 2011 from winebid.com, I shrugged it off as part of the risk of buying wines of unknown provenance. No big deal. Then I came to log the bottle out of CT and noticed the notes below about cooked/oxidized bottles all coming from the same importer. Sure enough, this bottle was imported by Adventures In Wine as well. I suspect my bottle was on the same shipment as the ones referenced below. Caveat Emptor!
