Monday, March 30, 2015 - No contest, my wine of the night. Certainly the best bottle of this that I have had. Deserving of comparisons to some of the other great 78s. Tingly spice jumps off the nose along with distinct cola aromas. Black plum, black cherry, bitterweet chocolate, and light dry earth. Background lavender and violet with air time. Elegant and engaging on the palate with alternating sweet and savory spice notes. Extremely long and evolving finish. 97+.
