Saturday, November 22, 2014 - Consumed with family on the eve of my son's Christening. Decanted 1 hour before consumption. Supple, with kirsch and black fruit; good tannic solidity - I'm guessing this was quite an imposing wall when younger - which dried slightly on the end of a long finish. Medium-bodied, refined and alluring. Most enjoyable. My sister was a bit slower in drinking her glass so when I tried it a little later (she let me!) - perhaps 2 hours after dinner - the fruit was still there. I have no idea whether the "to 2020" window is right here, but if I had more bottles I'd probably drink them in the next year or two.
