93 Points

Monday, December 12, 2016 - From 375ml bottle, Pnp at the winery, 45% new French oak. Medium ruby color. Lots of toasty oak noticeable along with vanilla and spices. Low tannic profile yet high acidity. Flavors are a bit medicinal (in a good way if that's possible) along with cherry, anise/licorice and minerally spices. Moderately long finish. Needs more air time I think and while time in the cellar will help this will probably be best in 5-8 years and less likely to be best at say age 12 or beyond.
