Friday, April 2, 2021 - Yes, I agree with all of the below (although I had to take a dictionary out for Bernt). This is a truly fine wine, but I shouldn't be drinking it now: it needs a further 3-4 years more to rein in its opulence.

So, once again, with our points scoring system, we are faced with a conundrum. This wine is not at its best at the moment- I am finding it a little too full. It needs more acidity, and hence lacks a little in definition. So 93 points perhaps is really too generous. But I recognise its depth and quality.

Actually, that definition may come on the second day after its opening (a characteristic of top quality wines). So, I'll get back tomorrow.
