90 Points

Saturday, May 13, 2017 - Bical and Maria Gomez blend. Citrus, chalk, wood and unripe apple on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied, but has a light mouthfeel and some malic creaminess. Medium to high acidity with some salty minerality and long finish, tapering towards bitterness and acids. Interesting and quite complex, with the malo notes and the almost unripe character (maybe the 11% ABV also hints at this) creating a contrast. The package stays however well together, creating a multi-layered but drinkable whole.
