Sunday, July 17, 2016 - Tasted at the Bodegas during visit. Bottle been opened for 3+ hours. Cherry, dark red fruit and minerals. Made in classic style, much closer to a Vega than Pingus. It is quite controlled with fine tannins. A bit peppery on palate, rather rounded, leading to mid length finish. Was expecting a bit more power from the 90yr old vines, will open another bottle later and allow more time for breathing.
