Wednesday, December 14, 2016 - Sour apple and melon. Medium dry, with a little residual sweetness and good acidity. Nice.

Just curious, why the 80 point rating if you liked it? Had I seen an 80 point rating for a wine on Wine Spectator or Robert Parker I would think the wine was flawed and would avoid it at all costs

12/17/2016 9:11:00 PM - I have an academic tendency against A's for everyone :) Seriously though, I try to go off the suggested scale (http://support.cellartracker.com/article/49-tasting-notes-and-ratings)- in this case the wine was decent, but not great, so I went for an 80
