Saturday, October 10, 2020 - Got a glass here now as my usual MO and the nose is faint of forest floor and maybe cranberry juice. After an hour opening up, I get dark cherry and a minute amount of dark chocolate followed by a lot of acid. The longer it opens, the better it gets. It's not big and bold, but a medium body claret and has a quick, slightly tannic finish. At this price point, I will definitely not repurchase. Don't get me wrong as I love St. Emillion, but this is not a great bottle of wine for $50, but not a bad wine, just not a $50 bottle.
