Tuesday, December 1, 2015 - Initial attack is closed, acidic - cranberries and sour cherries. Some air opens it up to ripe raspberries, strawberries with slight sappiness and a dusting of cinnamon spice. Acid is ever present, balanced and tannins are powdery and not overbearing. Silky, supple texture and medium long finish. Lacks some concentration for me - flavours painted in watercolour, to quote a borrowed line.
