Wednesday, January 13, 2016 - Dark red purple in the glass; color to the rim. Cassis and belt leather on the nose. Medium full body and juicy, medium plus acidity on the palate. Flavors of ripe plum, saline minerals, cassis. Lengthy bright purple finish. Horton does wonders with this native North American variety. More should know about it.
