Saturday, April 22, 2023 - Open in the bottle for about 2 and a half hours. Ready for business now. Nose is a bit shy, a little dusty and smoky with ripe red fruit. Palate is full and rich and still quite primary. Lots of smooth but still very present tannins, ripe plums, black cherries, hint of red licorice, gravel, a little menthol on the very balanced and long finish. Really great stuff.
