Saturday, February 20, 2021 - Cork was pulled cleanly, lengthy decant, rustic, earthy nose of faint dark fruit, rosemary, eucalyptus, black olive, tar, forest floor and some pleasant funk, well balanced palate of black plum and cassis, secondary notes of toast, cedar, campfire, truffle, mushroom and leather and a whisper of black pepper, extremely rounded, soft tannins, lengthy finish of plum and black licorice. Paired well with Lamb Au Poivre, Sweet Sautéed Asparagus and Saffron Seasoned Israeli Couscous.
