Friday, January 4, 2013 - Opened up a little funky, but quickly blew off into a pretty incredible wine. Grilled lemons, candlewax, and a woodiness that almost seemed like something lighter than oak. Very nice looking goldenrod in the glass. Some may lead you to believe that this is for wine nerds only, but not the case at all. And like another taster had mentioned, this does not show any signs of its age on the palate.
