Thursday, May 12, 2016 - Drank this last night at Summer Pavilion (Ritz-Carlton). Theme of the night: Wines from 2005.

Closed at first but after the wine opened up, the freshness and length of finish is amazing.

Dark red fruits with cassis and blueberries, coffee, liquorice, dried flowers, and toasted oak.

Definitely a number of years to go before the wine will be at its peak.
