Friday, May 5, 2017 - This is drinking so beautifully, still a heady wine but the tannins have resolved considerably. Unlike the Carlisle Zin I had recently this is still showing ample fruit and complicating flavors such as berries, licorice, violets, herbs, and stones. I think the stout structure from the Mourvèdre and Petite Sirah in this wine have enabled it to age exceptionally well for a big wine.
