Saturday, March 24, 2012 - Opened 24 hours ago, a few ounces poured out, slow o for 3 hours then corked and put in the fridge overnight. Allowed to warm up to cellar temperature before reopening. Medium garnet. Lead pencil nose, barnyard, leather. Delicious red currant, excellent balance, tannin present but approachable. Long finish, savory with soy sauce, no heat.
Great wine, fair value. To drink now, you MUST give this a long decant or opening to let this wine come togther, but probably better to hold at least 3 more years. 13%
