Friday, July 25, 2014 - Just what a Boudreaux should be. Great structure, beautiful soft tannins. Decanted for 1 hour. Really needs 2 hour decant to fully open up. Drinking well now with a few years left. Deep red, nose of red fruits light vanilla, earth and tobacco notes. Follows through on palate with good depth of cherry-plumb-raspberry fruit and good acidity. Moderate finish of dark berry, spice and mouthfilling but well-integrated tannin.
