Friday, October 23, 2009 - WFA Bordeaux 2005/2006 Tasting by the Wine Review (Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore): Very good. Lots of toasty oak on the nose, but the complexity and depth of the wine was apparent underneath that, with layers of white fruit and apple tones. Palate was rich and round, with a whole lot more ripe white fruit on the attack, with pineappley tones on the edges and a nice touch of mineral moving in a medium-long finish. Still a bit monolithic at this point, but the quality shines through.
