Sunday, April 4, 2010 - Big wine! Toffee, yellow flowers, vanilla, rich, hay, lemon tart/pie aromas. Palate: alcohol, eau de vie, pine resin, slightly absinthe-like, hot finish burns the back of the tongue. Mistaken for a Puligny-Montrachet due to its petrol/mineral qualities. Very expansive and much better a few days later. Too early to drink if you want balance. Quite a monster for a white wine!
