Sunday, June 11, 2017 - Following previous "bad" visit to this wine, decided to uncork my 2nd and last bottle.
Surely below will tell that my 1st bottle must have have faulted, as this SHL 05 is stunning.

+ Preparation - drank chilled between 10-12°C
+ Colour - shiny yellow, with a hint of apple green around the edges
+ Nose - rubbery, candied tropical fruit ( mango, pineapple ), some pear syrup,
mineral, woody ( slightly dried smoked wood ), limestone, wet granite
+ Flavour - slightly greasy ( good ), quite grassy, some syrupy stone fruit, slightly mineral
+ Finish - fresh, some wood still, grassy and mineral like, slap in the face, simply stunning

Tasting this bottle, surely it feels like an angel taking a tinkle on your tongue - great wine.
This is how I expected this bottle to taste like - easily the best white BDX tasted !
