Thursday, October 25, 2007 - This was rather good, if you appreciate the style. I thought a lot of decanting would benefit, but it seemed to stay relatively constant between cork pull to about 5 hours, with very little fading of the fruit. Huge dark fruit, blackberry, spice, oak and leather profile. Overall very good balance, certainly a fun wine now, I hope it ages evenly – I’m not sure what will happen.
